This brand new 8.9 lb motor features composite gears impregnated with glass for strength, durability, and longevity.

At Hi-Power Cycles, we only offer the best equipment money can buy! The standard configuration of 2000W is, in our opinion, the best balance of performance, speed, hill climbing, durability and price. All of the options below default to this "standard" configuration. This is a COMPLETE kit and includes everything you need to convert your existing bike!

Choosing a Battery- Higher voltage (V) means higher speed and more power. The standard 51.2V 10Ah Battery will take you up to 26 MPH and provide a range of 30+ miles (with light pedaling on flat ground @ 18 MPH). "Ah" is a measure of storage capacity of a battery. As you increase either voltage or Ah, your range will increase proportionately. For the best durability, highest safety, and longest lasting batteries, choose LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate). Expert users can choose LiPo batteries- which deliver the highest power to weight ratio in the industry.

Choosing a Controller- When Choosing a controller, the most important thing you need to know is that more Amps means more power in the form of torque. The standard 50A controller is incrdibly powerful and provides more than enough torque to get you where you need to go.

Choosing a Charger- By default, any battery system you purchase from us will come with a 2A Charger. This means that if you have a 10Ah battery system, it will charge in about 5 hours. You can choose to upgrade to a 4A charger which is twice as fast and will charge in half the time (2.5 hours for a 10Ah pack). Finally, the fastest charger we carry is a 6 Amp Charger which can charge in about 1.6 hours (or 3x as fast as the standard charger).

Choosing a Wheel Build- Choose the kit with the same size wheel as the bike you wish to convert. If you have a 26" bike you would like to convert, then choose one of the 26" wheel options. Be sure to pick your preference of an all silver or all black wheel.

Choosing a Throttle- This is totally up to the end user- It comes down to personal preference, do you prefer a motorcycle type twist grip throttle or a thumb throttle?

Choosing a Freewheel- Choose the number of speeds on your freewheel based on the number of rear speeds on your bike. Most 21 speed bikes use a 7 speed freewheel, 24 speed bikes use an 8 speed, and 27 speed bikes use a 9 speed freewheel.

Choosing a Rack/Bag system- If you have a basic battery system that is 15Ah or less, the standard rack is fine. However, if you would like a stronger, sturdier rack, opt for the upgraded rack that is rated to carry more weight.

Customizing your Bike- If you have selected a high power controller (40A or more), it is HIGHLY recommended to upgrade the phase wires on the bike to 10 gauge. Otherwise, you risk melting connectors and having severe heat issues with prolonged use.

The system we have specified below produces 2500W or approximately 3.35 Hp. This is MUCH more than your standard electric bike and will offer you the thrill of a lifetime! It is biking like you have never experieneced before!

38.4v: 32 MPH
51.2v: 40 MPH

- Optional Cycle analyst measures speed, distance, Ah usage, Wh/mile, instantaneous Amps, Voltage, and Watts. This will let you know exactly how much power you have left in your battery! It even can serve as a digital speed limiter from 1 to xx miles per hour, as well as limiting the amount of amps the motor draws in order to conserve battery power!
